Soft-tissue repair research — the landscape

Research & laboratory use only

This article supports qualified researchers. It is not medical advice and must not be used to plan human or veterinary administration.

Musculoskeletal repair research focuses on angiogenesis, fibroblast activity, inflammation resolution, and extracellular-matrix remodelling. Experimental peptides such as BPC-157 and thymosin-β4 fragments are studied mainly in animal and cell models — human clinical evidence remains limited.

Narrative enthusiasm online often outruns the peer-reviewed record. Prefer primary papers and recent systematic/narrative reviews that state evidence gaps clearly.
