Lyophilised research compounds are stable for shipping at controlled room temperature when sealed. On arrival, most researchers refrigerate unopened vials at 2–8 °C in original packaging, away from light.
After reconstitution
- Store at 2–8 °C unless your COA or SOP specifies otherwise.
- Minimise freeze–thaw cycles — aliquot in the hood if repeated access is needed.
- Keep away from UV/light sources; opaque wrap is acceptable.
Stability after reconstitution is compound- and diluent-specific. TARA documents batch purity at release; in-solution stability in your lab is your protocol’s responsibility.
