Minimal data by design
No analytics cookies, no ad trackers, no social pixels. Browse and verify batches without an account. We only collect what fulfilment and payment require.
What we protect
These choices are built into the site today:
- No tracking cookiesWe do not set marketing, analytics, or advertising cookies. There is no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar.
- No third-party fontsTypography is self-hosted. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts when you load a page.
- Login-free verificationBatch lookup works without an account. We do not ask who you are to show a COA or verify ID result.
- Guest checkoutYou can order without creating an account. An account is optional, not required.
- Cart stays in memoryYour cart is not written to cookies or local storage. Refresh the page and the cart clears.
- Card data stays with SumUpPayment card numbers are handled by SumUp’s PCI-compliant widget. They are not stored in our database.
- Supplier names hiddenCustomers see batch numbers and verify IDs — not upstream supplier or manufacturer identity.
- Optional local tools onlyThe reconstitution calculator and demo login save data in your browser’s local storage only if you use those features. You can clear them anytime via browser settings.
What we cannot eliminate
Physical research orders need a deliverable address and a payment trail. We are honest about the limits:
- Shipping requires identityName, email, and a full delivery address are stored on each order so parcels can be dispatched and you can be contacted about your shipment.
- Payment processors keep recordsSumUp (and your card issuer or wallet provider) will hold transaction records. That is required for card payments and financial regulation.
- Carriers see the labelAn Post, DPD, or whichever carrier handles your parcel will see the name and address on the shipping label.
- Infrastructure logs existOur hosting (Vercel) and backend (Convex) may log IP addresses, timestamps, and request metadata at the infrastructure level — standard for any website that talks to a server.
- Order history for fulfilmentWe retain order and invoice records for dispatch, batch traceability, and legal/tax obligations. This is not anonymous once you checkout.
- Email for confirmationsOrder confirmations and invoices are sent to the email you provide. Use a dedicated address if you prefer separation from personal mail.
Cookies & browser storage
We do not use HTTP cookies for tracking or advertising on this site.
The following browser storage may be used for convenience only:
- localStorage — calculatorKey: tara-calc-session-v1. Saved dose log and schedule if you use the calculator.
- localStorage — demo accountKey: tara-session-user-v1. Name and email if you use the current demo login.
- sessionStorage — ops panelStaff operations token only. Not used on customer-facing pages.
Sub-processors
We rely on a small set of services to run the shop:
- ConvexDatabase and API for products, orders, and batch verification.
- SumUpCard and wallet payment processing.
- VercelWebsite hosting and delivery.
- Email providerOrder confirmations and invoices (when wired for production).
- Shipping carriersParcel delivery within Ireland and the EU.
Your rights (Ireland / EU)
Under GDPR you may request access to personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, erasure where applicable, restriction of processing, and data portability for account-linked data.

You may lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) if you believe your rights have been infringed.
